What Participants Say

Feedback from retail investors, part-time traders, and professionals who attended our screening workshops and coaching sessions.

I attended the flagship workshop in January with almost no chart experience. The afternoon section where we screened live VN30 names together was the turning point — I finally understood why a stock makes a list and why another does not.

My chart review session focused on five banking stocks I had been holding too long. Tuấn did not tell me to sell — he showed me where my support lines were drawn too optimistically. Small shift, but it changed how I review every Sunday.

The four-week coaching program helped during a choppy quarter. Week two covered breadth indicators I had ignored completely. I still rewatch the session recording before my weekly scan.

Custom watchlist build was efficient. We went sector by sector and I left with twelve names and written notes on each invalidation level. The half-day format was enough — though I would have appreciated more time on REIT charts specifically.

I came back for a follow-up review six months later. My screening had gotten sloppy again — too many names, vague criteria. The 60-minute session tightened everything back up. Worth doing periodically.

Group size was right. I asked several basic questions about volume averages and never felt rushed. Lin's pre-session reading list meant I was not completely lost in the first hour, though I still recommend having opened a charting app at least once before attending.

Case study: Rebuilding a weekly scan routine

Participant: Nguyen Van Khoa, logistics manager from Can Tho
Training: Watchlist Screening Workshop, then four weeks of Market Scan Coaching
Starting point: Khoa tracked 35 stocks across a spreadsheet updated manually each weekend. He often entered positions without a defined invalidation level and held through drawdowns because he had not screened for trend alignment first.

What we did: During the workshop, Khoa rebuilt his criteria from scratch: minimum average daily volume, proximity to weekly support, and a requirement that daily and weekly trends agree. In coaching week three, we adjusted his volume threshold when market participation dropped sector-wide.

Outcome after eight weeks: Khoa maintained a stable list of seven to nine names. He reported spending less time scanning and more time on earnings context for names already on his list. He noted that fewer trades did not mean fewer opportunities — it meant clearer ones.
